History of Hockey NSW
In November 2002 the New South Wales Junior Hockey Association amalgamated with the NSW Men's Hockey Association. November 2004 saw the amalgamation of the NSWHA and NSWWHA to form a single entity of hockey administration in New South Wales, namely Hockey NSW.
This large membership base has contributed to an enviable record at Australian Championships in both forms of the game; field and indoor. Coupled with a high representation in Australian Squads and Teams which dates back over 80 years, Hockey NSW is proud of the history and traditions that have been created over a 100 year period.

Hockey NSW released it's Strategic Plan 2010-2014 recently, reinforcing the Board's commitment to a sound structure and clear objectives for the success of the sport as well as defining Core Values of the organisation in its dealings with Members.
