About the Russian Cycling Federation |
Cycling Federation of Russia founded in 1990, brings together 61 sports organizations of the Russian Federation. Russian Cycling Federation (RCF) is recognized by the Olympic Committee of Russia, the Russian Federation Ministry of Sport, the International Cycling Union (UCI), the European Cycling Union (UEC) as the only organization which has the exclusive authority to manage the development of cycling in the country, conduct related to cycling national and international competitions in Russia, the representation of the sport in the subjects of international sports relations: implementation relations and contacts with the International Cycling Union, national unions and federations of cyclists in other countries, as well as other foreign and Russian and international associations.
December 22, 2011 FBR passed the state accreditation for four years - the order number from 20 Minsportturizma 23.01.2012g.
The main activities of the CFR: preparation of national teams of Russia to the main event, the Olympic Games and the development and promotion of cycling in the country.
Cycling Federation of Russia holds annual competitions nationwide more than 140 calendar (track, highway, BMX and mountain biking), as well asinternational competitions : - Road Cycling: "Grand Prix of Sochi", "Grand Prix of Adygea," "Mayor's Cup", "Five Rings of Moscow", "City of Adygea", "Grand Prix of Maikop," "Memorial Oleg Dyachenko," "Grand Prix Moscow "; - Cycling on the track, "Alexander Memorial Lesnikova", "Grand Prix of Tula", "Grand Prix of Moscow"; - Cycling, mountain biking, "Itera Cup."
