34^th Easter Sprintcar Trail

Here at Warrnambool for the final round of the Easter Sprintcar Trail.

South Australian Daniel Pestka comes into the night leading the series with a 2^nd place at Avalon Friday night and again at Mt Gambier last night.

Victorian Dennis Jones is in 2^nd followed by another South Australian Matt Egel.

Steven Lines was successful at Mt Gambier last night after a monumental crash at Avalon the previous night and picked up 3^rd quickest in the time trial tonight.

Local hero Max Dumnsey secured quick time with a blistering 10.117 lap followed by the winner of the Avalon night Trevor Green with Lines 3^rd quickest.

The warm up session was halted after Eddie Lumbar put his NSW36 car upside down into the fence in turn 3. With speeds reaching 160kph at the end of the straight and averaging 145+ kph per lap there is no room for mistakes here.
