Last Call For Methanol! UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions To Close Out Eldora Season
NRA Sprint Invaders and BOSS Sprint Cars Also Racing; Hot Laps Begin at 4:30 pm, Racing Starts at 6 pm
ROSSBURG, Ohio (October 8, 2015) – The engines will fire up one more time, before Eldora Speedway hibernates for the winter months.
On October 10, the final race of the 2015 schedule takes place at Eldora as the UNOH Sprintacular will feature the winged All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars, the winged NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders and the non-winged BOSS (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series).
The evening activities will use Eldora’s autumn schedule, with Hot Laps at 4:30 p.m. (EDT) and racing starting at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.eldoraspeedway.com or by calling (937) 338-3815.
Dale Blaney has clinched the All Star championship on the strength of 12 wins this season. It’s his sixth title, the most in series history.
Blaney, from Fowler, Ohio, has won the Historical Big One in 1998 and the Kings Royal in 2000.
Cody Darrah, from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, is second in points and has three All Star win this year, while Sheldon Haudenschild is fifth in points, but has scored five victories in 2015.
Greg Wilson, from Benton Ridge, Ohio, is a two-time All Star champion and most recently won the World of Outlaws race in September at Eldora.
The All-Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series is one of the oldest traveling sprint car organizations and is a staple of grassroots, open-wheel racing.
Formed in 1970 by Bud Miller, the series has largely been considered the first 'outlaw' Sprint Car organization of the modern era. After a 10 year stint as owner of the All Stars, Miller passed control of the series to Bert Emick in 1980; a reign that would continue through 2002. Guy Webb then purchased the series from Emick in the summer of 2002 and served as the series President for the next 12 years.
Motorsports entrepreneur (and Eldora Speedway owner) Tony Stewart agreed to terms with Guy Webb to become the sole owner of the original winged sprint car tour in January of 2015.
For the winged NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders, Jared Horstman and Max Stambaugh are tied in points with just the Eldora race remaining for the 360 cubic inch engine machines.
For the non-winged BOSS (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series), Shawn Westerfeld of Guilford, Indiana, became the first driver in series history to clinch the title before the season-finale.
Hawkins Scores Big Win In DIRTcar Fall Nationals by Allstar Performance At Eldora
Controversial Contact Leaves Stickler Angry and In the Mud; Pierce Writes Another Eldora Headline
ROSSBURG, Ohio (October 4, 2015) – Jacob Hawkins drove his car beneath Kyle Stickler’s machine battling for the lead and the $5,000 payday in Sunday’s rain-delayed DIRTcar Fall Nationals by Allstar Performance at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Coming off turn four with 11 laps to go Hawkins car bumped Strickler’s machine which caused Strickler to spin out on the mainstretch and be done for the afternoon. Hawkins, from Fairmont, West Virginia, led the rest of the way to win, while Strickler, from Mooresville, North Carolina, voiced his displeasure with Hawkins on track and afterward.
“We had our hands full,” said Hawkins. “The car was great. We ran Kyle (Stickler) down there from a long ways and everyone got stacked up there on the cushion. He went to turn down there and I was there. It’s one of those racing deals. It feels good to get the win here at Eldora.”
Stickler finished a disappointing 25th.
Former NASCAR driver David Stremme was second, while Nick Stroupe, Nick Hoffman and Travis Stemler rounded out the top-five.
Stemler, from Ionia, Michigan, won the UMP Modified Eldora points championship.
“This is just amazing,” Stemler said. “Not only to win a feature and a heat race, but now the championship. Jerry (Bowersock) gave me a heck of fight. The people that run Modifieds around here weekly are pretty awesome to be around.”
In the UMP Late Model A-Feature, Bobby Pierce started fourth, but quickly took the lead from Eddie Carrier Jr., eight laps in and never looked back en route to victory in the 40-lap race. Pierce, from Oakwood, Illinois, beat Carrier, from Salt Rock, West Virginia, by 2.3 seconds.
“It’s awesome,” Pierce said. “I’m out of breath. I loved the track. It was fast and rough. I rode the cushion a little bit. It was tricky, but we got the win.”
Pierce finished second in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in July and second in the 45th World 100 in September.
Eldora favorite Jeep VanWormer was second on lap 15, but hit the turn two wall and was done for the day.
Devin Moran was second, while Carrier Jr., was third. Josh Rice and Jon Henry rounded out the top-five.
Matt Westfall, from Pleasant Hill, Ohio finished ninth, but captured the Eldora Late Model title. He won the Eldora Modified title in 2014.
“It’s pretty cool to win it,” Westfall said. “Especially after winning the Modified deal last year. It’s nice to be able to come out this year and win this.”
Next Saturday, the final race of the 2015 schedule takes place at Eldora. The UNOH Sprintacular will feature the winged All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars, non-winged BOSS (Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series) and the winged NRA (National Racing Alliance) Sprint Invaders.

Young, Krup, Hawkins and Bollinger Win Day Two UMP Modified A-Features At Eldora
Expedited 'Features Only' Program Beats Rain; Racing Concludes on Saturday; Late Models Join Modifieds
ROSSBURG, Ohio (October 2, 2015) – Four more UMP National Modified drivers won A-Features on day two of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals by Allstar Performance at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Impending rain caused officials to dispatch the scheduled order of events in order to get the four A-Features completed before approaching rains hit the area.
Trent Young, from Crofton, Kentucky started third and led every lap of the first A-Feature, winning by .495 of a second over David Mielke, who started seventh. Mielke battled with Young for the final 15 laps wheel to wheel and almost got by him with four to go. But Young pulled away to score the victory.
Aaron Orr was third, while Curt Spalding and Jeff Babcock rounded out the top five.
“It feels really good to be up here tonight after making a mistake and putting it in the wall last night,” Young said. “I couldn’t be more proud of my crew for all the work they did today. We rebounded really well.”
Will Krup, from Mt. Carmel, Illinois had a good restart in the second A-Feature with four laps remaining and won the event. He had a fierce battle with KC Burdette and Kyle Strickler for several laps, but pulled away to win by three seconds when the checkered flag flew.
“This is a dream come true to be up on the stage here,” Krup said. “To race with all these guys and win, it’s a big deal. The night moved quick, but it wasn’t too bad. It was a good night.”
Burdette was second, while Stickler was third. Jess Hartman and Jason Kinney were fourth and fifth.
The third A-Feature was led all the way by polesitter Jacob Hawkins, but he was challenged throughout the entire race by Nick Hoffman and Travis Stemler. The three cars were three wide as they came to the white flag, but Hawkins, from Fairmont, West Virginia, stayed in the gas and won by .3 of second over Hoffman.
“It’s been a phenomenal year,” said Hawkins. “We were OK last night, but just had some things happen. It was nice to turn it around and have a good run. I feel like the left rear kind of sealed up on that last restart. I could tell on the screen they were right on me and I knew I had to do something. I worked around the top and it seemed to work out.”
Stemler was third, while Garret Stewart was fourth. Ed Roley started 13th, but rallied to finish fifth.
Rain was making its way toward Eldora at the start of the fourth A-Feature so most drivers knew they’d be racing against the weather. Ray Bollinger, from Kewanee, Illinois, started second but grabbed the lead and held it until the 11th lap. By that point the rain was too heavy and Eldora officials called the race official.
“It feels like a dream and I’ve got my whole family here too,” Nicely said. “I can’t say enough for my family and my crew. We had a good car tonight.”
Dave Baker Jr was second, followed by Devin Gilpin, David Stremme and Jeff Koz.
On Saturday, there are eight preliminary races or “Alphabet Soup Features” that drivers can work their way through to get to the 30-lap A-Feature paying $5,000-to-win.
For the late models, they will race a full racing program on Saturday, with qualifying, heat races, last chance races and another $5,000-to-win A-Feature.

Stemler, Ruhlman, Strickler and Nicley Win Day One UMP Modified A-Features At Eldora
UMP Modifieds Take To The Track For Day One of Three At Eldora; Racing Continues on Friday
ROSSBURG, Ohio (October 1, 2015) – Four UMP National Modified drivers won A-Features on day one of the DIRTcar Fall Nationals by Allstar Performance at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
There were 104 entrants representing a dozen states and Canada that took part in eight heat races, four B-Features and four A-Features with the winners taking home $1,000 each.
Travis Stemler, from Ionia, Michigan, won the first A-Feature after battling with Devin Gilpin for much of the event. Gilpin took the lead from Stemler and held a car length lead when a caution came out with two laps to go. Suddenly, Gilpin, from Columbus, Indiana, pulled into the pits with a broken shock mount and was out of the race.
This gave Stemler the lead and he held off Joe Godsey to win the first A-Feature.
Kenny Wallace was third, while David Mielke and Ken Schrader rounded out the top five.
“This is awesome,” Stemler said. “We know we are in the show on Saturday. You can’t beat winning at Eldora. Devin’s a hell of a race driver and it sucks what happened to him, but we’ll take whatever we can get.”
Brian Ruhlman dominated the second A-Feature after starting second. He jumped to the lead and the Clark Lake, Michigan native lead every lap and beat veteran Jerry Bowerstock by .8 of a second. It was his 33rd career win at Eldora.
“I’m working on two hours of sleep,” Ruhlman said. “We worked on this car until 4 a.m., and then got back at it at 7 a.m. Just got it done in time to get here. This car was a hot rod.”
Will Krup was third, while Jess Hartman and Brandon Green were fourth and fifth.
The third A-Feature was quite interesting as Trent Young, from Crofton, Kentucky, started second but took the early lead. But it only lasted for four laps as he hit the wall in turn two and his chance at victory was gone.
Dean Hoffman, from Troy, Illinois, started fifth, but inherited the lead when Young fell out. His lead only lasted for four laps as he too hit the wall in turn four. He was out of the race.
That put Kyle Strickler, from Mooresville, North Carolina, in the lead after starting third and he held off his teammate and polesitter David Stremme to win by. 3 of a second.
“The race car was pretty good,” said Strickler. “I saw Trent get in the wall and then Dean got into the fence. I knew I wasn’t going to win the battle against the fence, so I just kind of puttered around the top and knew it be tough to get around me. This car is pretty good. Looking forward to the rest of the weekend.”
Nick Stroupe was third while Aaron Orr and Jordan Bauer rounded out the top five.
Tyler Nicely, from Owensboro, Kentucky, led ever lap and won the final A-Feature by 2.9 seconds over Brandon Ramsey.
“I knew I had a real good car,” Nicely said. “I had to make sure I didn’t get caught up in lapped traffic there. This chassis has been good all year. It’s our first victory here. I told my boys this summer that we are going to win a race at Eldora. This means a lot, standing on this stage. Hopefully we can get a couple more this weekend.”
Patrick Lyon was third, while Scott Bowersock and Ed Roley were fourth and fifth.
The format for the Modifieds remains the same on Friday with four A-Features that will again pay out $1,000 each. On Saturday, there are up to seven preliminary races or “Alphabet Soup Features” that drivers can work their way through to get to the 30-lap A-Feature paying $5,000-to-win.
For the late models, they will race a full racing program on Saturday, with qualifying, heat races, last chance races and another $5,000-to-win A-Feature.

Bobby Pierce leads Rusty Schlenk by 40 points and appears on his way to his second consecutive UMP Late Model National Championship. Pierce, from Oakwood, Illinois, also competed in his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Eldora where he started on the pole and finished second.
On the strength of seven top-10 finishes in 10 races Matt Westfall leads the Eldora Late Model points by 31 points over Josh Rice. Westfall, from Ludlow Falls, Ohio, won the 2014 Eldora Modified championship.
Schlenk and 2014 Sunoco America Late Model champion Brandon Thirlby are tied in points heading in to Eldora.
Thirlby, from Traverse City, Michigan, and Schlenk, from Jackson, Michigan, will decide who the champion is going to be this weekend at Eldora.
Former NASCAR stars Kenny Schrader and Kenny Wallace are expected to compete all three nights in the Modified division along with several local and nationals stars.
This is the penultimate race on Eldora’s schedule, as the Modifieds and Late Model divisions will be making their final 2015 appearance, the open-wheeled Sprint Cars have one more event on Saturday, October 10.

Bell Scores USAC Midget and Silver Crown Wins; Meseraull Comes Up Victorious in Sprint Cars
Big Crowd Watches Four Crown Nationals; Bell Also Won NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Race in July at Eldora
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 26, 2015) – Christopher Bell may be only 20 years old, but he looked like a long time veteran in winning the USAC Midget and Silver Crown races as part of the Four Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Bell dominated the Silver Crown race after starting on the pole and led every lap and he led most of the laps after starting fourth in the USAC Midget race earlier in the night.
“This feels good,” Bell said. “This Silver Crown deal has been so tough on me. I’ve been fast a couple times, but just couldn’t get the job done. It’s cool to be able to come out here and win. This is my third year in the Midgets and I’ve been good all three years, but finished second both times. It’s nice to be able to win two races.”
Kody Swanson was second in the USAC Silver Crown division while Chris Windom was third. Shane Cottle, who started ninth, was fourth while Brady Bacon was fifth.
In the Midget race, Rico Abreu was second followed by veteran Tracy Hines. Tanner Thorson and Kevin Thomas Jr rounded out the top-five.
The USAC Sprint Car race was quite entertaining as Swanson took the early lead, but on lap four Chase Stockon, who started sixth, passed him for the lead. He held the lead until lap nine when Bryan Clauson shot past him on the outside on the mainstretch to take the point.
It appeared to be Clauson’s race to win, but on lap 15, he bushed the wall in turn two and cut his tire as he entered turn four. He went to the work area to replace it, but had to restart 22nd.
Stockon took the lead because of Clauson’s misfortune, but right after the restart Meseraull, from San Jose, California, passed him on the frontstretch and led the rest of the way to take the victory.
It was Meseraull’s first National Sprint Car win.
“This is my first National Sprint Car win,” Meseraull said. “You can take that to the bank. Just super excited to be in front of these awesome fans her at the house that Earl (Baltes) built. Eldora is the race to win and I can’t believe I won it.”
The race was red flagged midway through when Kevin Thomas Jr., flipped wildly in turn one. He was checked and released from the care center.
Swanson, from Kingsburg, California, finished second, while Dave Darland, from Lincoln, Indiana was third. Clauson rallied to finish an impressive fourth, while Scotty Weir was fifth.
The penultimate race on Eldora Speedway’s calendar is next week at the UMP Fall Nationals for the Modifieds come to Eldora for a three day show starting on October 1. Tickets can be purchased at www.EldoraSpeedway.com or by calling (937) 338-3815.

Ohio’s Wilson Comes From Ninth To Score First Career World of Outlaws Victory At Eldora
Abreu, Stewart Challenge Wilson in Fierce Battle Throughout 30-Lap Portion of #4Crown Nationals
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 25, 2015) – Greg Wilson, who lives just 80 miles northwest from Eldora Speedway, held off Rico Abreu and Shane Stewart to win his first career World of Outlaws race at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Wilson, who won an All Star Circuit of Champions race at Eldora in June, started ninth, but quickly worked his way up to the front and led the last half of the race.
“I want to thank everybody,” said Wilson who hails from Benton Ridge, Ohio. “This has been a long time coming. I’m a blessed dude and to win at Eldora – I was in tears. If you’re going to win somewhere, this is the place to do it in front of the best fans in the world.”
Pole sitter Chad Kemenah, from Alveda, Ohio took the early lead but was passed by Abreu just past the 10-lap mark. Abreu and Stewart then battled for the lead just past the 15-lap mark, but all of a sudden, Wilson shot by on the low side and got by both of them.
Wilson then rode the bottom all the way to the finish to score his historic victory.
“This is the World of Outlaws,” Wilson said. “I just turned 40 years old. You’re not going to wipe this smile off my face.”
Stewart was second, Abreu was third, while Donny Schatz and Dale Blaney rounded out the top-five. Blaney came from 21st to fifth.
Several drivers, including Abreu and Stewart made their way to victory lane to congratulate the first time winner.
In the UMP Modified race, Travis Stemler also came from ninth to first to claim his first win at Eldora Speedway.
Stemler, from Ionia, Michigan, is now set for next weekend’s three day UMP Fall Nationals also held at Eldora.
“For about three weeks I’ve just been on fire,” Stemler said. “I appreciate everyone’s help. You always dream of being in victory lane at Eldora. This is just a dream come true and I don’t think I’ll sleep tonight.”
Zeke McKenzie, from Claypool, Indiana, finished second, while Jerry Bowersock, Aaron Orr and Jonathan Taylor rounded out the top-five.
The #4Crown continues tomorrow with the United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown, Sprint Car and Midget Cars national tours joining together at a speedway USAC has called home since 1962.

Tickets Available for 34th #4Crown; World of Outlaws on Friday; USAC Silver Crown, Sprints & Midgets on Saturday
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 23, 2015) – If you like open wheel racing, this is your weekend at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
The 34th Four-Crown Nationals are set for September 25 and 26 at the half-mile dirt track. Friday night, the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Cars will take to the track along with the UMP Modified division. Saturday will see the United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown, Sprint Car and Midget Cars national tours join together at a place that they’ve run since 1962.
On top of that, the future stars of racing will be race during the day at with their USAC .25 midgets on the adjoining Little Eldora Speedway. Also, the Vintage American Race Cars (VARC) members will be on hand with their biggest display of the year to bench race and retell the history of their restored racecars.
It makes for an exciting weekend of racing and tickets can be purchased at www.EldoraSpeedway.com or by calling (937) 338-3815.
The World of Outlaws will run their fifth and final event at Eldora on Friday night and they have put on some excellent races at the half-mile.
Donny Schatz swept the two WoO races in May and then Shane Stewart won both races in July as part of the 32nd Kings Royal. Schatz, from Minot, North Dakota, and Stewart, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, are the top two in the championship standings but Schatz has dominated and will be going for his 30th victory of the season on Friday night.
The UMP Modifieds will also battle on Friday and are prepping for next week’s UMP Nationals which will determine their championship. Seven drivers are within 14 points of each other with veteran Jerry Bowersock, from Wapakoneta, Ohio, leading by four points over Jeff Koz and Travis Stemler.
On Saturday, the USAC drivers will hit the dirt with their top three divisions.
Shane Cockrum, from Benton, Illinois, won the last Silver Crown race in DuQuoin, Illinois, but will be challenged by brothers Kody and Tanner Swanson who each have multiple victories this year.
In the Sprint Car division, Dave Darland, from Kokomo, Indiana, has won four times this season and has five wins at Eldora including in April 2014.
Tracy Hines, from New Castle, Indiana, is tied for the second most victories at Eldora with nine and he last won in September 2012. Should he win this week, he will be within three races of the Eldora’s favorite son Jack Hewitt, who has won 13 times at the half-mile.
For the midgets, it should be Rico Abreu, Bryan Clauson and Tanner Thorson fighting for the win as all three drivers have won this season.
Hewitt is the only driver to win the Four Crown as in 1998 he won all three USAC races plus the UMP Modified race. Kyle Larson won the three USAC divisions in 2011 after the World of Outlaws were added running as Crown #1 of the Friday/Saturday weekend.
Davenport Comes From 18th To Claim Historic Victory In 45th World 100 at Eldora Speedway
Becomes Fourth Driver to Sweep Dirt Late Model Dream and World 100; Takes Home $48,000 in Front of Huge Crowd
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 12, 2015) – Jonathan Davenport won the 45th World 100 and became just the fourth driver to sweep the major dirt late model races at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Davenport, who won the Dirt Late Model Dream and $100,000 in June passed Jared Landers for good on lap 66 and won the $48,000 payout for the World 100 in front of a huge and enthusiastic crowd.
Donnie Moran swept the races in 1996 and 1998, while Billy Moyer did so in 2010.
It was an incredible race for Davenport as he started 18th, but worked his way to the front to win his first World 100.
“How about coming from 18th?” Davenport said. “This thing started circling on that bottom and I knew we were going to have a race car then. I just kept circling that bottom and circling that bottom and when the track cleaned up I knew it was time for me to go to the top. I love this place and I love this car. I had great horsepower as well.”
Jared Landers started second, but took the lead over pole sitter Scott Bloomquist at the start. Landers led for the first 61 laps before Davenport, from Williamston, South Carolina, battled him for the next five laps.
They traded slide jobs throughout most of the racing surface, making contact once when Landers re-passed Davenport, before Davenport cleared him on lap 64. Landers was with him for two more laps before Davenport pulled away.
From there he led the rest of the way and beat young Bobby Pierce, who started fifth.
“I have to thank all you fans,” Davenport said. “You guys are great. This is unbelievable. We have a dream season and now we have a world season.”
Pierce was second, while four-time World 100 winner Bloomquist was third. Landers, from Batesville, Arkansas, was fourth, while Steve Francis, who started 13th, finished fifth.
The race was made possible by the hard work of the Eldora employees who worked for hours on the track after rain canceled Friday night’s racing action.
The racing started at 10:30 am (EDT) on Saturday and they ran the scheduled Friday show before completely reconditioning the track again for the Saturday night show.
The next event at Eldora is the 34th Annual Four Crown Nationals. The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars and the DIRTcar UMP Modifieds are featured on September 25. The USAC National Midget, Sprint and Silver Crown tours are showcased on Saturday, September 26.

McDowell and Sheppard Score Big Wins in First Night of World 100 Weekend
Sunny Skies And Great Weather Greet Competitors As They Race Toward Historic $48,000 Payout
ROSSBURG, Ohio (September 10, 2015) – Veteran Dale McDowell and young gun Brandon Sheppard rolled to impressive preliminary feature victories on the opening night of Eldora Speedway's 45th World 100, splitting Thursday night's two 25-lap DIRTcar-sanctioned races at the historic half-mile oval.
The $5,000-to-win triumphs put McDowell of Chickamauga, Georgia and Sheppard of New Berlin, Illinois, in prime position for Saturday’s $48,000-to-win World 100. Saturday’s heat races for the crown jewel event will be set based on drivers’ performances on Thursday and in a second night of preliminary action on Friday.
McDowell, who won the World 100 in 2005 and finished second last year, started fourth and battled early with defending World 100 champion Scott Bloomquist and Wheelersburg, Ohio’s RJ Conley. But his car quickly came to life and he found the low line and took the lead. He never looked back and took the checkered flag.
“That’s my preferred line, McDowell said. “I think that’s the best place to take care of your tires. Brandon (Sheppard) looked awfully good around the top, so I think it’s just where you get your car balanced. Our package just seems to work in the middle to the bottom - although in the heat race I was able to run up top.
“It takes two different style race cars, two different style setups to run the top and the bottom and be the best at either one. We’ll just have to see what the track conditions are, what the preparation is, what the weather may do.”
Darrell Lanigan, of Union, Kentucky charged to a second place finish while Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tennessee flirted with Eldora’s famous wall to finish third. Last minute entry Chris Madden, of South Carolina, who started 12th, worked his way to fourth, while Georgian and current World of Outlaws Late Models Series point leader Shane Clanton rounded out the top-five.
Illinois’ Sheppard, who is just 22, started second in A-Feature number two but took the victory.
Early on however, he was in a fierce battle with Eldora favorite Jeep VanWormer of Pinconning, Michigan as the two fought for control. Making contact on a few occasions, they battled for several laps before Sheppard found speed on the top and pulled away for the victory.
“It feels awesome,” said Sheppard. “It’s a really prestigious racetrack and my father and grandfather put a lot of hard earned money in my program. It means a lot to them and it means a lot to me because I’ve put a lot of hard work into the cars and the program.
“We were sitting at Rocket Chassis (in Shinnston, West Virginia) on Tuesday with basically a bare frame and two crew guys and I got it ready and left at midnight and made it here at 7 a.m., on Wednesday. It’s a lot of hard work and dedication.”
Two-time World 100 winner Jimmy Owens worked his way up to second followed by VanWormer. Dennis Erb Jr., was fourth with 2015 Dream winner Jonathan Davenport finishing fifth.
The 45th World 100 Weekend continues on Friday with a second night of preliminary competition. The 106-car field will again be split into two groups for heat races, B-Mains and 25-lap features that will both pay $5,000 to the winners.
The blockbuster weekend concludes Saturday night with World 100 heat races, B-Mains and the 100-lap, $48,000-to-win main event. Fans can obtain tickets information for the World 100 by going online to www.EldoraSpeedway.com or contacting the Eldora offices at 937-338-3815.
Fans who can’t make it to Eldora in person this weekend can still watch all the action live by purchasing the live Pay-Per-View video broadcast of all three nights of action that is available atlive.eldoraspeedway.com.
