The event kicks off tonight with the annual City Cruise! Cars will depart from Beckley Park at 6:30pm and hundreds of classic cars will make their way across Geelong to the waterfront, concluding in the pits.

Round 1 of CAMS 2018 Victorian Hillclimb Championship
Come and witness over 100 vehicles competing in Round 1 of the CAMS 2018 Victorian Hillclimb Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
The Revival Hillclimb gives us a traditional road-based hillclimb through the wonderful trees and vistas of Eastern Park – reminiscent of the early days of motor rallying. A great spot for the purists and a chance to see even more classic vehicles in action! Enjoy twice the racing action!
State Championship points and trophies will be awarded to each class along with an overall event winner being announced.
The FREE Hillclimb Express Train will help you get to and from the event, travelling between Eastern Beach and Eastern Gardens all day.

The 1/4 mile sprints will kick off at 10am tomorrow and will run all weekend!
See over 300 classic cars and motorbikes compete in the historic Geelong 1/4 mile sprints for the National Classic Sprint Title.
Saturday features more contemporary and exotic vehicles and Sunday celebrates the more classic cars and bikes.
Special guest driver Dean Canto will be racing at at the end of each run session, so don't miss seeing what the expert can do on our track.
Also, for the first time ever we’ll have a McLaren road car racing on the Geelong waterfront this weekend. The super sexy 2017 McLaren 675LT Spider is 1 of 22 in Australia and is sure to have heads turning in the pits and on track!
Food & Expo Lots to see, eat and do with a variety of trade stalls on display!
We'll help keep you fuelled all weekend with a great variety of tasty street food. From Delish, Black Barrel BBQ, Copa Grill, Melbourne Street Food and Squid Inc Direct, there are plenty of cuisines on offers to satisfy your hunger throughout the day.
There's also a huge motor expo on display, with the likes of Hobbies Direct, Dalton Automotive, Performance Wheels, the Renault simulator and many more!

Adelaide Motorsport Festival
Looking for another excuse for a road trip? Our friends at Adelaide Motorsport Festival still have some spaces available in The Prima Tour element, running on 7th December and it is only $595 to enter.
The Prima Tour is open to classic or modern cars and is a great non-competitive intro to the weekend. Take to Collingrove Hillclimb and a number of closed roads while rubbing shoulders with the likes of Craig Lowndes, Tim Slade, Troy Bayliss, Molly Taylor and others!
The Prima Tour is essentially part of Day 1 of the Adelaide Rally which has its own tour and various competition categories.

Join us in kicking off the weekend of motoring with a cavalcade of exotic vehicles through Geelong.
The route will travel along the Princess Fwy and the Geelong Waterfront, with the vehicles parking in the pit zone and Herne Pde. The City Cruise will commence at 6:30pm, Friday and drivers are invited to arrive from 6pm.

Round 1 of CAMS 2018 Victorian Hillclimb Championship
Come and witness the champions!
With over 100 entrants competing from 11am - 3pm each day, the event will showcase some of the best classic vehicles in action, reminiscent of the early days of motor rallying. Witness all the racing up close from the spectator viewing and vantage points. The 900 metre Revival Hillclimb course is located at Eastern Park, overlooking Geelong's picturesque waterfront.
State Championship points and trophies will be awarded to each class along with an overall event winner.
Saturday Night Drinks
To add to the vintage theme of the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival, RGYC will have historical wooden boats on display, with the café open and live entertainment all weekend.
Once the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival wraps up for the day, we invite you to come down for evening drinks and live music on the Saturday evening with our bar open until 11pm!

K-ROCK TRADE EXPO Come and visit our special offerings and exhibitors!
The K-Rock Trade Expo will feature stalls from some of the biggest motoring companies as well as local mechanics. The zone will also include a range of unique and delicious food vendors to fuel your appetite.
Motorcycle Mecca is our specialised area for all things two-wheels. If you're looking for minor repairs, or to completely rebuild your bike, exhibitors in this area will have some of their best work on display.
Steampacket Gardens is the place to be for those wanting to experience a blast from the past, featuring a range of rockabilly-style clothing and accessories and vintage accessories

The National Vintage Fashion Awards 2017
Come and join the fun at this year's National Vintage Fashion Awards and see the best in Vintage and Reproduction fashion. Applications are still available for women, men and kids, entry is completely free!
The National Vintage Fashion Awards are something that the whole family can get involved in; entrants will go in the running to be crowned Miss Vintage, Miss Repro or Dapper Dude. There are also special prizes to be won this year thanks to Dangerfield, Little Creatures, Browns and Charlie & Co.

We are excited to share that Supercars co-driver Dean Canto and the Megane Trophy V6 will be racing at this year's Geelong Revival Motoring Festival thanks to our friends at Renault Australia.
Dean Canto has been a household name in Australian motorsport for years. Winning a number of Supercars and GT events and currently co-driving with Prodrive Racing Australia, Canto will be sure to show the crowds just what the Megane Trophy V6 is made of!
Catch the Megane Trophy V6 sprint down the 1/4 mile track on both Saturday and Sunday of the event. Also be sure to visit the Renault Exhibition located in Steampacket Gardens.
Amazing Allard J2
We have the honour of showcasing so many spectacular vehicles at the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival each year. The Allard J2, driven by competitor Graham Smith, is just one of these vehicles.
The Allard has some impressive stats and even more impressive history. The Allard J2 was extremely popular in the USA, but only a very small number came to Australia.
This example is believed to be the first J-type Allard brought into Australia by Rube Gardiner in 1950. Originally most J2 cars were fitted with a side valve Ford V8, but this particular car had a Chrysler OHV V8 fitted in the mid sixties.
Catch the Allard J2 and over 150 more vehicles race in the historic 1/4 mile sprints.

Just a couple of the food trucks at this year's event are Copa Grill and Smokey & the Brisket. We're talking pulled meats, juicy brisket burgers and saucy ribs. The Revival vintage caravan display will take you back to holidays of a bygone era. Take a peak inside trailers filled with character and authentic fittings many of which are towed by matching cars! The vintage caravan display proves to be a crowd favourite each event and we will have a record number of caravans on display this year. We are excited to announce that we have partnered up with the Targa Florio Australian Tribute to add even more Motoring to the Geelong region. 2017 is the 101st Anniversary of the Targa Florio and the first time the event has left Italy, an amazing attraction for Victoria and all car enthusiasts.
The Targa Florio Australian Tribute November 29th - December 3rd is a regularity event split into two groups. One for classic cars produced in the years 1907 - 1976 and second the Ferrari Trophy, open to all Ferraris produced from 1977 to present day .
A regularity race, also called time-speed-distance (or TSD) race, is a type of motorsport race with the object of driving each segment of a Course in a specified time at a specified average speed.

Every year volunteers help us with jobs around the event from crowd and gate marshals to event setup and everything in between. Registration in this year’s event is $295 which includes your race entry, an event program and four complimentary pit passes for your crew members. Entries are still open for the 2017 sprints but Spaces do fill in quickly, so spread the word to your friends and get in on all the excitement.

If you have entered the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival in the past or used the 'CAMS Event Entry' before, you will have an account already set up. If you have not used the system before, you will need to open an account.

Last year, we launched the Geelong Revival Hillclimb, which plays hosts to the 1st round of the CAMS Victorian Hillclimb Championships.This year the Hillclimb will be more action packed with modifications to the track, better spectator viewing and more on offer from the best vantage points. See over 90 cars take on the challenging 900m course and other exciting demonstrations throughout each day.

Friday evening, show off your pride and joy in the moving Motorshow that will be cruising the streets of the Geelong CBD, just like the good old days. Participation is FREE and runs from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
ABOUT THE EVENT
For new participants, the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival 2016 Sprint is a 1/4 Mile long or 400m in modern parlance. There will be National Classic Sprint Trophies awarded in each class along with an overall event winner based on aggregated and weighted times. We intend to send vehicles down the course at intervals and collect them in groups of 50 (depending on the number of competitors in each class), then stop competition and procession the vehicles back in convoy before starting the next group.
We ask that you be polite and friendly to our many officials as they help to make this event run smoothly. They are all volunteers and the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival can't run without them.
We welcome on board our major sponsors for 2016. Their support allows us to promote the event to the wider community. Our thanks also go to the City of Greater Geelong for their valuable support and allowing us to use their facilities within the event precinct.

As the dust settles on yet another successful Queenscliff Rod Run. the Geelong Street Rodders are busy planning next year's event which will run on February 5th-6th & 7th in hopefully better weather conditions.
Lots of good memories were shared by many over the weekend with the Saturday night cruise an awesome event. Lots of spectators and cars just cruising the strip. What a blast.
Shaping up as a good weekend again for Melbourne Street crews with the Kingpin Kuztums event in Dandenong starting at 3pm and FWY's Endless Summer #5 on in Geelong starting at 7.30pm.
