FOURTEEN MARTINI® RACING CARS CONFIRMED FOR 2013 GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED IN 150 ANNIVERSARY YEAR
A record display of MARTINI® Racing machinery for Goodwood in 20 years of famous Hillclimb
London, 18.06.13 – MARTINI® will partner with the world’s finest car-culture event as a record 14 MARTINI® Racing machines come together for the first time at Goodwood Festival of Speed. In the 20th year of the famous 1.16-mile Hillclimb, the Italian drinks brand will celebrate a glorious racing adventure in its 150-year heritage (11-14 July).
Ten of the 14 historic machines – representing 45 years of MARTINI® Racing – will form an impressive display next to the popular Formula 1® paddocks. Bringing a touch of Italian style, MARTINI® will serve the world-famous drink that gave its name to the courageous racing team.

For the first time, the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car that multiple World Rally Champion, Sebastien Loeb, raced in the opening rounds of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be on display – bringing back the eye-catching stripes for the first time in five years.

The tri-colour motorsport outfit won multiple titles over four decades, including Le Mans 24 Hours three times and multiple Grand Prix races. The record breaking team was best known for its undefeatable legacy in World Rally Championship (WRC), becoming an icon during the 1980s and 1990s; winning seven world titles – six consecutively from 1987-1992, which remains an unbroken record in the 40-year history of WRC.
