Due to popular demand we are bringing International Ice Hockey back in July 2014, bigger and better than before. Games have been added to Perth and Brisbane and Melbourne's game is going into 14,500 capacity Rod Laver Arena with more entertainment, pyrotechnics, sound and lighting effects and two new teams from USA and Canada. All the action will be broadcasted live in the arenas on jumbo-tron screens with action replays to get you up close and personal.
We strive to put together teams of a high caliber to showcase a professional level of hockey and to present a real North American Ice Hockey experience. As the North American Ice Hockey season is running while we recruit the teams we cannot confirm the full team rosters until one month out from the event. We will announce players as they are confirmed leading up to the tour. The 2013 and 2011 teams included players from AHL, NHL, and Stanley Cup winners, you will not be disappointed.
USA and Canada will battle it out to claim the Douglas Webber Cup and the title of International Ice Hockey 2014 champions. The winner is decided by the team that scores the most goals over the four games.
