2018 Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Trials
This event held Feb 28 to March 3rd provided a fantastic opportunity for Swimming Australia to showcase many of the great participation initiatives we are running. Swimming Australia worked alongside Swimming QLD and ASCTA to deliver Optus Junior Dolphins Come and Try’s on all 4 days, a Junior Excellence clinic, Optus Junior Dolphin medal presenters and club relays every night. We had all of our technical officials that have been appointed to the Commonwealth Games on pool deck fine tuning their skills ready for the Commonwealth Games, and a TO workshop was held providing valuable upskilling opportunities to our TO network. These activations provided opportunities for close to 400 members of our swimming community to be involved in this event.
