Ariarne Titmus made her way into swimming’s history books – becoming the first swimmer in 14 years and only the sixth Australian ever to take out the 200, 400 and 800 metres freestyle events.

Keeping the grassroots green - we had heaps of fun hosting our Optus Junior Dolphins with daily Carnivals and a Junior Excellence Program on Saturday. Nightly club relays in the competition pool was a guaranteed way to get competitive hearts racing.

We LOVED seeing our swimming royalty take to the pool again in the ever-popular Optus Legends Relay! With thanks to Dan Kowalski from the Australian Swimmers Association for pulling together such a star-studded field.

George Corones was the unexpected star of the show, breaking two world records in the 100-104 age group category for the 50 and 100m freestyle events. A true inspiration to all!
