THE Macquarie University Sydney Rays were left wondering what could have been in the wake of their 41-26 loss to an impressive Greater Sydney Rams outfit at Macquarie Uni on Sunday.
The Rams scored six tries to four and kept their unbeaten run intact in the 2017 National Rugby Championship but the Rays coaching group will look through the game and see some bright spots, with a determination to get back on track next weekend.

The Macquarie University Sydney Rays are very proud to have established a ground breaking partnership with Pymble Ladies College, which not only looks to enhance the already excellent rugby program there, but also goes much further, with students getting hands on experience in sports marketing, media and event management. This weekend saw our tournament ably supported by Pymble Ball Girls, Hospitality Staff and Media Assistants, all of whom made a significant contribution to the overall success of the event. Thank you so much girls, we couldn't have managed without you!

Finally, a special note of thanks this weekend to our friends at Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park. Hosting our team overnight on Saturday, their support was invaluable! If you've guests or work colleagues that are staying in Sydney, send them to the Holiday Inn!
