The National Danish Performance Team are coming to Perth!
Check out the National Danish performance team and their 2014-2015 World Tour. They will be coming to Perth in October with inspiring workshops and a breath taking show, so don’t miss the opportunity to get the team into your club to up skill and inspire your workforce and athletes.

Go for 2&5 NWRGA Gymnastics Championships 2016 Wrap Up
The NWRGA in conjunction with the Karratha Gymnastics Club, hosted the Go for 2 & 5 NWRGA Regional Gymnastic Championships on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July.
It was a great weekend with over 170 athletes competing in Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and 90 competing in Tumbling.
Athletes and their families travelled from Carnarvon, Hedland and Broome to enjoy a fun filled weekend of gymnastics and to determine the regional champions in both MAG and WAG.

FreeG Workshop
Other than Spider Man have you ever seen someone climb up a wall or flip over a park bench? Chances are they are doing FreeG, the exciting new GfA program being brought to Australia from British Gymnastics. The best bit about this new program is that every club can be involved and all they have to do is get their coaches through the FreeG Workshop!

Attention ALL Judges
On 23rd May all Judges received an email from Teresa Holden, Industry and Training Coordinator. This email contained a form to provide EFT details which needed to be completed and returned to GWA by ALL Judges. Thank you to those of you who have returned your form but if you are still to send this into the GWA office the final cut off will be Friday 29th July.
If you did not complete a Statement by Supply form in 2015 and you are wishing to be paid for your judging please can you ensure that this is also received by the GWA office by the same date. Should you have any queries please call the GWA reception on 9228 9399. |

Interschool Challenge Wrap
On the 28th – 30th of June, over 180 students from 7 schools gathered together at the State Gymnastics Centre for the 2016 Go for 2&5 Interschool Challenge.

Newman College Students Inspired by Gymnastics
In Term 2 the students from the Newman College education support unit bounded into the State Gymnastics Centre to get another taste of gymnastics in their 8 week program.
With support and encouragement from the coaches many students were able to achieve their first pull up or swing on the rings unassisted for the first time.
