After a 90 minute rain delay at the Lincoln Speedway Wednesday night,  the USAC & URC Double header was cancelled due to rain.

 

The USAC feature was on the track at the time the rain began to fall.

 

Because 50% of the show was completed, we are required to pay the full and complete purses to both USAC and URC.

 

With USAC only coming east once per year, the only option is to reschedule the event in 2015.   USAC will run a complete show plus the make-up feature.   URC will be part of the program and run two features as well in 2015. 

 

We greatly regret the decision.  

 

We started the show tonight ahead of the scheduled starting time, and moved the show along without delay.   The rain began at 8:50 PM and continue to fall at this time.

 

We apologize and like you, we wish we could have completed the show tonight.
