SS&A OMFNL Interleague Squad Announced

An initial 44 man training squad has been selected for the SS&A Ovens & Murray Football Netball League’s interleague clash against the Peninsula Football Netball League on May 25^th at Visy Park in Melbourne.

All 10 SS&A OMFNL clubs are represented in the squad, with 2012 premier Yarrawonga boasting eight squad members whilst last year’s runner up Albury is not far behind with seven inclusions.

Interleague coach Matt Pendergast, along with his selection panel of Ron Montgomery, Jason McMahon and Leigh Ramsdale will now start to ramp up preparations for the all important clash.

A win this year will see the SS&A OMFNL return as one of the top two teams in Country Victoria.

The first training session for the 2013 senior squad will be a recovery session held in Wangaratta on Sunday, 5^th of May with additional training dates on the 8^th, 15^th, 21^st and 23^rd of May.

The squad is as follows:

ALBURY: Daniel Maher, Luke Wells, Dean Polo, Luke Packer, Charles Gaylard, Josh Maher, Joel Mackie. 

COROWA-RUTHERGLEN: Hayden Filiponi. 

LAVINGTON: James Saker, Luke Garland, Matt Pendergast, Kade Stevens, Brant Dickson, Tom Hargreave. 

MYRTLEFORD: Brad Murray, Kristian Height, Matt Dussin. 

NORTH ALBURY: Dan Leslie, Jason Gram, Kane Godde, Adam Prior, Jethro Carma-Holt. 

WANGARTTA: Judd Porter, Ben Davies, Matt Grossman, James Wong, Josh Porter. 

WANG ROVERS: Sam Caruso, Karl Norman, Tyson Hartwig, Sam Carpenter, Jamie Sheahan. 

WODONGA: Steve Murray 

WODONGA RAIDERS: Todd Bryant, Dean Limbach, Dean Giles. 

YARRAWONGA: Craig Ednie, Brad O’Connor, Drew Barnes, Kayne Pettifer, Richard Handreck, Marcus McMillan, Jarrod Thompson, Xavier Leslie.

 OMFNL REPRESENTATIVE NETBALL 2013

15 & Under / 17 & Under TRIALS

Trials for the 17 & Under, and 15 & Under Netball Teams will be held on Tuesday 30th April at JC King Park, Albury. (If required a second session will be held Tuesday 7th May)
15 & Under (born 1998 or later) Trials will commence at 5:30pm
17 & Under (born 1996 or later) Trials will commence at 6:30pm

All interested players are asked to register their interest with Tamara Mathews (Representative Coordinator) on 0448 069 078 or email  mathews.tamara.r@edumail.vic.gov.au.
Please nominate your preferred positions & your age group.

The teams will play at the North East Zone Tournament in Shepparton on Sunday 26th May. Should they progress they will be required to play at the Associatioon Championships in Melbourne on Sunday 23rd June.

The Open Team will progress straight through to the Association Championships on the 23rd June. There will be no trials for this team; it will be chosen by a selection panel. 

COACHING
