To further increase local interest in the event, Golf SA conducted a random sweep 
for the ISPS HANDA Women’s Australian Open, where all 144 affiliated SA golf clubs, 
were randomly drawn a player competing in the Championship.

Five prizes were awarded to clubs, with the major prize, 
a $1,000 marketing grant and a Women’s Open pin flag signed by the Champion, 
going to Roxby Downs Golf Club who drew the winner Jin Young Ko.

Roxby Downs Golf Club is an 18-hole course located 550km north of Adelaide, 
in the small mining town of Roxby Downs. The club has 87 members.

Minor prizes (free ticketing allocation for next year) are awarded to the clubs who drew 
runner up, third, greens in regulation and putting average (clubs can win only one prize).

Brilliant Korean Jin Young Ko dominated the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open but it was also a victory of sorts for Australia’s Hannah Green.

Ko won by three shots when she rolled in a short par putt at the last hole, with Kooyonga’s 18th green surrounded by thousands of spectators.

But the 21-year-old Green secured the best finish of her short LPGA Tour life, and her best result in her national Open, finishing third.

South Australian Stephanie finished tied 19th picking up a cool $17,256.78! Well done Steph!
