GUSPRC - Let It Run - Edition 2 2016
GUSPRC had 19 athletes competing for the club at the 2016 National Rowing Championships in Penrith. This is more than 3 times the representation we had in 2015 and 6 times what we had in 2014 so the numbers of athletes wanting to compete at a National level is increasing rapidly.

Commercial congratulates Darcy Wruck and Harley Moore who have successfully confirmed spots in the Under 23 Australian Men's VIII which will compete at the 2016 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Rotterdam in August.
The boys will relocate to Melbourne to train with the rest of the crew. We wish them well and hope they pack a beanie for Melbourne - it will be cold.

Between Saturday 16 April and Friday 22 April 2016, Gary Lynagh will be participating in the Chain Reaction Challenge, a 1000km in seven days cycling event around Adelaide to raise funds for some very important children’s charities.
The event aims to raise in excess of $900,000 to fund the Starlight Children’s Foundation’s Starlight Express Room at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, and also fund the capital construction of the new AEIOU Foundation for children with autism centre in Logan.
To assist Chain Reaction Challenge and Gary achieve their fundraising goal they need YOUR HELP.

Horton replaces Kell in Australia's Women's Double Scull
Earlier this year, Rowing Australia announced that the Australian Women’s Double Scull for World Rowing Cups 2 and 3 would feature Sally Kehoe and Elizabeth Kell, subject to Kell’s medical clearance for an ongoing injury.
