Entries are now open for our next event the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars, 20th February 2016.

This event will be combined with our 10 year anniversary since our first event was run in 2006.  To help celebrate this milestone the club will be putting on free entertainment after the event including some food and a live band.

We hope that everyone can come alone and help us put on a great event and have drink or two afterwards at the clubrooms to help commemorate 10 awesome drag racing years at South Coast Raceway.

The track will also be open on Friday from 5pm to 7pm for testing.

THE MOST SPECTACULAR SHOW IN DRAG RACING

Are you ready for the most spectacular show in drag racing ever seen at Portland?  The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car’s next stop on Australia’s biggest nitro tour will head back to Portland and the iconic eighth mile track on the south-western coast of Victoria on the 20th February 2016.

The field will feature a huge line-up of the 4000hp Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars, Nitro Express, Lets Boogie, The Bandit, New “Red Devil” ’57 Chevy, New “The General” Dodge Charger, New “Bumblebee” Chevy Camaro, New “Backdraft” & New “The Russler” Chevy Camaro.  As well as the crowd favourites – two wheelstanding supercharged funny cars the Nitro Sheriff Wheelstander & the New “Rocketship” ’57 Chevy Wheelstander.

For the first time ever at Portland a “Salute to the Crowd at 1PM, where all Nitro cars line up on the strip and start at once!  The new tune-up for the funny cars mean bigger flames and faster times than ever before, which will be sure to fire up the south coast fans.

Plus the day will also feature a huge line-up of Sportsman racers including Supercharged Outlaws, Modified Eliminator, Super Sedan, Modified Bike, Super Street and Junior Dragster

Gates open at 9am, with Sportsman Racing from 10am to 8pm.  Salute to the Crowd at 1PM, Outlaw Nitro racing at 2pm, 4pm & 6pm.
